I'm reposting my "as I was reading" review of the book because I'm too shocked to say anything else right now.



Chapters 1-4
- Remus and Tonks? You are fucking kidding me. Argh
- OMG HEDWIG OMG. I AM ALREADY CRYING OMG NOT COOL.
- Damn. I was hoping Hagrid died. *giggles*
- Remus shoving Harry around. Nghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

Chapters 5-10
- 'Ear 'ear-. GOD ILU FRED OR GEORGE
- Mad Eye. *sniffles*
- Tonks pls to go away.
- Ginny too k.
- AJSKAHSJ REMUS LOOKS UNHAPPY BECAUSE HE'S WITH TONKS AND NOT SIRIUS. *nods*
- I still really hate Mrs. Weasley.
- Ahhahaha I like Kreacher so far!

Chapters 11-13
- YES YOU MADE A MISTAKE. YOU LOVED SIRIUS.
- NOT ON WITH THE YELLING AT REMUS, HARRY. Not. On.
- OOH WINNAR. I thought of the Phineus picture before Hermione did. I am amazing.

3:30 am. 274 pages into the book. Must take snack break and raid vending machines.
3:40 am. Yes. Hershey's Kissables, Oreo Cookies, and Animal Crackers. We are set.

Chapters 14-20
- I OPEN AT THE CLOSE HAS TO BE ABOUT THE LOCKET K.
- Oh Ron you utter utter twat. I know you'll redeem yourself by the end of this but damn. Twat. And this is setting up Harry/Hermione so perfectly well I'm leaping with glee. Duke it out shippers. *giggles*
- *sniffles* K not crying at the scene at the graveyard either, nope.
- Least loved by the girl who prefers your friend *GIGGLES* They are going to take that and run with it.
- Oh yayes Ron. I'm so paranoid, I think everyone is polyjuiced or under Imperius. *headdesk*

Chapter 21
- THE VEIL. OMG THE VEIL PLS TO LET HIM COME BACK OMG PLSSSSS.

5:00 am- I have had about 5 bottles of water. I am peeing every 30 minutes. This is not on. Don't think I'm going to last much longer. *eyes bleary*

Chapters 22-25
- Romulus. *weepz omg* Srsly. can't handle Remus and Harry being estranged. *makes flaily movements*
- "move faster than Severus Snape when confronted with shampoo" OMFG HOW AWESOME ARE THE TWINS IN THIS BOOK?!?!?
- Jesus Hell. The death list is at like.... 1245 now. Poor Dobby. *pets him*

5:45 am: 500 pages read in 5 hours. I need a break. Will sleep a bit and come back to this (OMG SO GOOD I AM SRSLY FLAILING EVERYWHERE)

11:00 am: K. 5 hours of sleep. We're good. *still bleary* I had weird dreams where like the football was mixed in with Harry Potter and somehow Paris Hilton had been cursed by Voldemort and I was always taking her blood to get labs on her. No. clue.

Finishing Chapter 25
- OMG REMUS I LOVE YOU. PLS PLS PLS PLS PLS PLS PLS DON'T KILL HIM OFF JK. PLS.
- i actually really like Fleur. She came from her country and is immediately thrust into a war with the Order and just goes along and helps because she loves Bill. I like her. *nods*

Chapters 26-30
- NEVILLE! OMG YEY!
- SNAAAAAAPE SNAAAAAAAAAAAPE OH IT'S A SNAAAAAAAPE.
- Oh. Well that was quick. *pouts*
- OMG McGonagall ilu sooooo much.

Chapters 31-36
- Battle at Hogwarts! Battle at Hogwarts! *squees* (PLS TO NOT KILL LUPIN K THNX)

- Wow. So Harry is a whorecrux? And Snape loved Lily. And Dumbledore made Snape kill him. Holy fucking hell fandom has turned out to be correct!
- Oh God the Resurrection Stone. Oh god I am crying. It's hard to read while you are crying. Oh my god.

1:30 pm: Wow. I'm. Wow. Gobsmacked. Can't think properly right now. Will have to think about what I want to say.

First thoughts: I loved it. I know I'll be in the minority in this because everyone lives to bitch about the books and the movies and whatever else they can, but I loved it. Short of Lily calling Severus "Sev"* I think it was fucking amazing.

Didn't like the epilogue. Who names all their kids the names of deceased relatives? A middle name is perhaps enough. I was just waiting for Dobby, Sirius, and Remus to pop up on the Hogwarts Express too. Ugh. She could have definitely left the epilogue out and I would have been much happier.

The scene with James, Lily, Sirius, and Remus still brings a chill to my spine. That was, quite possibly, the best thing I have ever read, and I am now crying again just thinking about it. Bugger.

Snape. *sighs* I loved the way he died. Not outwardly heroically, like throwing his body in front of Harry's, but heroically enough to the people that know the truth. Which is what he would have wanted. I still love the man, perhaps even more so now. No Sev* though. No no no.

I am starving now and seriously sleep deprived. Think I'm going to eat and then think a bit more and will have a more comprehensive review.

*I honestly wanted to stop reading the book when I saw that. I know why she wrote it but GAH GAH NOW EVERYONE IS GOING TO USE IT EVEN MORE THAN THEY DID AND GAH
